The tree alone

An unspoiled village on the rocks, in the shadow of the mountain. Far away, the sea. There, Violeta returns, an old woman now, after years of absence. At the same time, the church's treasures disappear and its suspicions grow heavier. Her past dark, her present uncertain. Everyone calls her a witch.

Simos, a young child raised with the legends of his place, is the only one who will believe in her innocence. But will he dare to mess with his friends who organize a whole conspiracy to reveal the true face of the witch?

The history of the village and its people unfolds through the memories of the elders and the revelations of the younger ones. A place that is dark and bright at the same time, a place that seeks its truth through beliefs, prejudices, dreams and visions, betrayals, passions and shadows.
