Players develop the region of Mystras and distribute their followers to the streets, states, monasteries and fields.

The skill of the players in developing the area and using thieves, knights, farmers and monks will determine the winner.

Players develop the area around Mystra by placing terrain blocks.

Each round the area grows as players expand and add roads, fields, towns and monasteries.

Players can also develop their followers as thieves, farmers, knights and monks to control and earn points for roads, farms, cities and monasteries.

As there are limited followers the wise player will plan their moves carefully and place their followers when and where they need to in order to score the most points.
