"That August, the most beautiful August of the century, the full moon heralded a strange journey that looked very much like a fairy tale. But it wasn't a fairy tale." This journey begins a long time ago. Ever since the little marble boy, the statue, left his homeland in Asia Minor as a refugee and was housed in the Archaeological Museum of Athens. From then on, he was getting colder and colder, because he was incurably homesick for his homeland on the opposite coast of the Aegean. But things will change when he finds two close friends, Mrs. Galatea, the cleaner of the Museum, and little Lampi, the son of the night watchman. Things will change with a strange dream. From the dream, a big blue bird will fly to the Museum that will take them on a night with a full moon to the lost homelands, in Asia Minor.
