The fluff of happiness

A small and magical word is "Thank you" that contains a large dose of gratitude.
Gratitude nourishes our soul and has been shown to be directly linked to happiness.

OX-I lived on a small planet at the edge of our solar system that had the most beautiful and strange sky!
The sky was lit up by thousands of bright Fluffs, small fluffy celestial bodies that glowed from afar.

They said that if you caught them they were very soft and brought real happiness.
Oh! How OH-I loved Fluff! What a shame it was so, so far away...

Until one day a Fluff fell just beyond OH-I's house! How pleased he was!
His wishes came true! A whole lot of Fluff!
But did Fluff finally make OX-I happy?
And what is happiness after all?

A story that comes to show children the power of gratitude. Gratitude nourishes the soul and is directly linked to happiness.
It is a tool and a skill we can use to live in the present, feel more content in the present, and look forward to the future.

If we cultivate this way of thinking in children from an early age we help them become happier adults. Education in the value of gratitude is education in optimism. There are always challenges, roadblocks and complications, but how we deal with the difficulties that may arise is the real test of mental toughness.
