School year 1957-58. Anna is thirteen years old and goes to high school, where she will confront its strict rules, experience the first love affairs, the first traumatic experiences, but, above all, a strong bond with her philologist, which we will follow through the pages of her hidden diary.

A dive into the thoughts and psyche of a restless teenage girl growing up in a country town in the 1950s and dealing with abusive behavior from boys and men, as well as her mother's constant admonitions about how she should behave.

The novel is the second part of the Anna, Then and Always tetralogy, where we follow Anna's life from the late 1950s, when she was still a girl growing up in the country, to the mid-1970s, soon after the junta. At the same time, we live with her in the turbulent 60s in Athens, where she had moved.
