The rebellious man

"I rebel, therefore we exist" affirms Albert Camus. Rebellion is the only way to overcome the irrational. But the real subject of "Rebellious Man" is the questions posed by Camus' penetrating wit: How has man, in the name of rebellion, come to terms with crime? How did rebellion end up in 20th century authoritarian states replicating concentration camps? How did human pride go astray?
"Rebellious Man" had a huge impact right from the start, but it also caused many reactions from various sides: communists, surrealists, existentialists, Christians... Camus's contemporaries were not mature enough to admit truths that were imposed in the following years, making him "Revolutionary man" work as relevant as ever.
